What Makes Us Unique
Four Concepts.
1. I LOVE the tech end to our program. When I saw what mountain my wife would move, to keep her "Duo Lingo" spanish teaching app going, I knew there was something to this. That is why I made the APP, the heart of the program. It is still in its infancy, but I am excited about it.
2. Fortunately I am pretty good with tech stuff, so that you don't have to be. There are many alternatives to "Zoom' that are simpler to use for virutal meetings that we employ in ways that are easy for you. Each client has a different threshold of what thier comfort level is, as far as online/ in person. Being primarily on line, enables me to keep rates WAY lower than other places.
3. BLACK BELT DOCTOR - The single greatest card I bring to the table is my 35 years of marital arts experience. My wife and I ran a karate dojo for 20 years. It has helped me so much on two prime levels.
I am good at working with students, and have 20 years of experience in putting complicated concepts into simple terms for beginners. Most doctors I know, throw a bunch of "Black belt" terms at you, and expect you to understand them.
I am not like that. I am happy on your first day, if you don't punch yourself in the face, save beating Bruce Lee for another day.... We go slow, and only talk about things you undertand.
I guess that my black belt experience has taught me "Patience" and the abliity to accept a student wherever they may be.
4. I have been there, done that. That simple...
I have overcome Multiple Sclerosis and heart disease. I have nearly died from a sepsis caused by intestinal issues. I was a foster parent for over a decade, and witnessed and experienced extreme emotional trauma in that time. t
I have lost insane amounts of weight, and just "Get it".
I don't judge anyone, and my single biggest concept in working with people is what I can your "Simons".
In the Bible, a man named Simon helped Jesus when he fell. Jesus fell three times, so will you. YOU WILL FALL in your journey. So you fall seven times? Then get up eight! It is that simple, but not that easy.
I think my biggest role isn't guiding you in what to do - it is being there for you when you mess it up, and giving you the loving hand back up that you need.
What I treat goes hand in hand with what makes me unique, so this following section is repeated on the "What we Treat Page."
