GI Issues

* Death from intestinal issues
 

In November 2021, I did not die,..BUT I came close! The doctor in the ER, told me that I had a 50% chance of surviving, and there was nothing that he can do, it was up to me. This is where my martial arts saved me. My Toughess: combined with my ability to stay poised, allowed my body to pull through the crisis.

I was in the hospital for 5 days from a ruptured colon. It was a unique pain, that few people can ever understand. OK - correction, that few males can understand  - women have us beat, with childbirth. 
 

​I decided that year, that I had to one day dedicate my life to helping people.

In my studies for my PhD, GI issues were something that I focused heavily on, as they were deep to my heart,  and I have a soft spot for anyone experiencing them.
