I am a lifelong practitioner of the martial arts. I could write for pages on this subject, but the point of this blurb is using the arts for healing. That is rather brief. 

 

We do have a studio that we use. The Fitness Over Fifty will have a virtual component in 2026. Actual martial arts will always be in person however. 

 

I focus on “Martial movement” for my older ones. It incorporates some movements of Tai Chi (Which I am NOT a master of, but am pretty good at) as well as some softer karate moves (Which I  AM a master of). 

 

It is slow, and for health and chi development. It is something that is very dear to me, and is included in all of the in-person packages, for those who want it.
